CT - Corporation Tax
A CT600, also known as a Company Tax Return, is the document that must be filed in order to pay taxes on your earnings. This tax payment is needed for all enterprises, from small businesses to huge corporations, and is referred to as corporation tax.
What is Involves : Profit or loss for Corporation Tax (this is different from the profit or loss shown in your annual accounts and a Corporation Tax bill.
What are CT rates: 19% if profit is below £50,000 or 25% for profit above £50,000.
How to register for CT: You can registered for CT on HMRC website using your business gateway account.
How to Submission: You can submit the CT online using your business gateway or a professional accountant will submit the CT using a commercial software.
Deadline: The deadline for your tax return is 12 months after the end of the accounting period it covers. However the tax payment is a day after the Companies House's account submission deadline.
